| Recorders come with a bar code system to identify patient ID and visit. Each patient receives an irremovable armband with patient data on one single barcode (ex: patient #, initials, DOB). A patient leaflet comes with bar codes for all visits. Phase I unit just need to scan the patient armband and the visit in the leaflet to capture the data in the ECG machine. A check between patient barcode and visit barcode allows flagging any outlier. | |||
